Many of us have health goals and resolutions to start out 2018. Body Love, by Kelly Leveque, is a wonderful tool to use when getting your health in line. Like many of you, I enjoy learning and comprehending information on why certain behaviors give results. Throughout Body Love, Kelly teaches the science behind why the body responds to certain foods and diets, giving the readers all the tools they need to live a clean lifestyle. 

The Gist:

  • Using her Fab Four formula  - protein, fat, fiber and greens - you will learn how to shut off those hunger hormones and make long lasting smoothies and meals that nourish your body and remove cravings. 
  • I love this book because it is a tool I have referred back to time and time again. Not only for the recipes, but for the actual education that is included. 
  • Like I always say, education is power, and this book is packed full of bite size education tips that you will keep with you forever. For the first time I actually understand how the bodies blood sugar works and how to remove spikes with scary downfalls that would normally leave me binge eating my feelings. 
  • Kelly's approach is easy to fit into your life. It is not about removing certain foods, but making sure you are getting the proper amount of fat, fiber, protein and greens at each meal to sustain your energy, even your blood sugar and shut off your hunger hormones.
