Preserve: Changing the Way We Think About Plastic

Part of my healthier living journey includes producing less waste. That means for a lot of products I #switchtosafer as I use up an item or product. This "transition" state of mind rather than a cold turkey switch makes it a lot easier on the bank account too. I needed a new razor and toothbrush so I took to my research and found Preserve! They offer an array of products that are all better for you and the planet. 

The Gist:

• This Preserve Shave 5 Razor is life! I get so annoyed with the unnecessary goop on razors these days, I think this is why a lot of women have taken to using men's razors. It is clean, simple, has 5 amazing blades to get the job done and one small lubricating strip with cocoa butter and aloe. 
• I first pulled the Preserve Adult Toothbrush out and was a little nervous at how plain it was. But it truly gets the job done and the small head size allows you to really get the back of your teeth. They worked with dentists to get the best design for cleaner teeth.  Plus you can recycle your toothbrushes for cash here. 
• The only kind of plastic that is used on their products is recycled #5 polypropylene...think yogurt cups. This is a benign plastic that does not leach any harmful chemicals and using recycled plastic helps clean out our landfills, decrease energy use and decrease emissions of carbon dioxide.
